announced on Monday that CSS Composites, its disc lover, had stopped operating.
You may be informed that CSS Composites, our seal partner, just stopped operating. The FusionFiber rims we created for our own brand of highway, sand, and mountain bike wheels were created by CSS. We were excited about FusionFiber and were friends with the company that upheld our principles of lasting manufacturing. We are devastated for the lost workers and the untapped potential that won’t soon been realized. We never like to see a US company shutting down shop.
Sadly, we weren’t given any notice of CSS’ problems or upcoming closures in advance.
The remainder of the speech is as follows:
The most crucial factor for our users to understand is that the wheels they’re riding are completely fine; quite the opposite. Every vehicle we’ve created should provide years and years of riding for its rider. We want to convince them that all life contracts are still in place despite CSS stopping making FusionFiber rims available to us. Any Chris King FusionFiber vehicle that requires guarantee service is being handled by the fine people at NOBL Wheels.
FusionFiber rims ( ARD44, GRD23, and MTN30 ), which are King-branded, will be discontinued for the time being.
We may replace any damaged rim with an equal NOBL rim in the event that initial owners file a claim under the King guarantee agreement. The client will not be charged for the rim and wheel repair. If the rider wants a minute, matching wheel, which can be delivered with the assurance wheel, will also be available at a greatly reduced price.
In mild of CSS’s discontinuation of operations, what is most important to us is doing everything in our power to serve our clients. In a perfect world, we would have been able to make progress plans for this circumstance, but given the circumstances of CSS’s condition, we are glad to NOBL for working with us on an accelerated plan. We should be able to find alternative rim right away from them when they have been great to work with because we are located in the Pacific Northwest. We’re pleased to work with them. They currently use our hubs to create wheels, but it’s a good match. Customers may have confidence in our answer to this unexpected market occurrence.
The warranty procedure is straightforward, and the TR36 ( mountain ), HR25 ( gravel ), and HR45 ( road ) are the NOBL rims that can be replaced. Customers who have a copy of the original purchase will email for a Return Authorization (RA ) number, then box and ship the damaged wheel back to us where our wheel team will replace the damaged rim with a new rim ( building a matching front or rear if requested ), service the hubs, and then return to the customer. The established wheel will then be cared for by NOBL under the warranty. We are aware that international clients will work with the seller to serve their industry, which may result in issues with shipping and returns.
We would like to thank everyone who has patience with this unanticipated position, from our supply companions to our friends in stores to our ilk of devoted riders. We’re convinced that anyone who has invested in Chris King Wheels did enjoy the ride they will make going forward, which is what really counts.
Sincerely,
Kirby Bedsaul
