Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has extended its long-standing relationship with Coventry Building Society under a renewed five-year contract covering valuation services for residential and buy-to-let mortgage lending across the UK.

The agreement also incorporates Co-op Bank, which is now a subsidiary of Coventry Building Society. CSS will continue to provide valuation services as part of the Society’s mortgage lending activity.

Matthew Cumber, managing director at Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “Over the years, we’ve worked closely with Coventry Building Society to develop a valuation approach that balances efficiency with appropriate risk oversight. As property risk factors become more varied, whether that’s environmental considerations, changing property types or shifting market conditions, access to high-quality data and experienced professional judgement becomes even more important.

“The strength of long-standing relationships is that they create the foundation for continuous improvement, and we’re looking forward to building on our work with Coventry Building Society in the years ahead.”
